Worcestershire Health Walks is nearing 2,000 registered walkers across the County, with walkers having the choice of over 200 walks a month to join! New walks started in 2023 in Upton on Severn, Malvern, and Droitwich – with more planned to commence throughout 2024.
A health walk is a short walk undertaken on a regular basis. As well as improving physical health, walks can help with mental wellbeing by providing an opportunity to socialise with other walkers. Walkers are encouraged to go at their own pace so they able to enjoy it and walk groups offer alternate routes and distances to suit all abilities.
Worcestershire Health Walks are:
Free
Accessible, sociable, and welcoming to all regardless of ability
Between 30 - 90 minutes long
Local and easily accessible by foot or local public transport
An activity which requires no specialist equipment, everyday clothing & footwear can be worn
A way for walkers to enjoy their local and natural environment
A great way to socialise and make new friends.

Where they meet: Abbey Stadium, Birmingham Rd, Redditch. (For flat, easy, free walking)
Day and time: Wednesdays 11am

Arrow Valley Health Walks, Redditch
Where they meet: Arrow Valley Countryside Centre.
Day and time: Monday – 10:30 am short health walk. Thursday 10.30am – longer walk.
